What We’re Reading:
Senior UX Designer Art Klepchukov is reading Pep Talks for Writers: 52 Insights and Actions to Boost Your Creative Mojo, by Grant Faulkner.
Each chapter of this book is essentially a short essay about some aspect of the writing life, with encouragement and tips on putting Faulkner’s advice into practice. Although the author and I write different styles of fiction, his suggestions are both broad and familiar enough that I recognize patches of my own creative journey. I’m only a few chapters in but thoroughly enjoying reading and reflecting on each pep talk. Plus, although the content holds up in any edition, I love the formatting and engraving on the print cover.submitterspublishingwritingfilmopportunitiesliterary magazineartistspoetrynonfictionvisual artnewsletterphotography
