Who doesn’t enjoy reading submissions in bed or on the bus?
In addition to reviewing submissions on your iPad and iPhone applications, the Submittable platform now supports sending documents directly to your Kindle or Kindle Fire so that you can read while curled up in bed on these chilly winter evenings.
To utilize this feature:
- Go to Dashboard → My Settings. Send To My Kindle Settings
- At the bottom of the form, you’ll see a “Send to My Kindle” input. Enter your Kindle email address there (eg. myname@kindle.com or myname@free.kindle.com). Here is Amazon’s documentation on this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200375630
- Hit Save.
- Add “kindle@submittable.com” to your approved email list in your Amazon account.
Now whenever you’re viewing a submission, an item will appear underneath the options menu: “Send To My Kindle.”
Clicking it will send the submission file to the device email you have registered in your settings. You can pretty quickly export a number of submissions by paging through them and sending them to your Kindle.
