We have some exciting news to share. As announced in today’s press release, the technology and people behind Submittable and WizeHive are coming together to better support social impact programs across the corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors.
At Submittable, we have put our energy toward building grant management and corporate social responsibility (CSR) software that allows social impact professionals to concentrate on what matters most—creating meaningful impact in their communities. Every innovation and new feature we’ve developed maps back to that goal. The WizeHive team has been working toward this same mission.
We’re so proud of how the product we’ve built over the last decade has helped us form deep relationships with our customers. The organizations we work with are driving true social progress out in the world, and we feel lucky to be a part of your story. Thank you for being such engaged and inspiring partners.
With Submittable’s acquisition of WizeHive, we’re bringing together two leading grant management softwares. By combining efforts, we’re positioning ourselves to innovate faster and to be even more responsive to your feedback. We’re also acquiring WizeHive’s brands Bright Funds and WeHero, which unites several CSR solutions. Together, we’ll be able to solve the challenges that existing software hasn’t been able to overcome. And we’ll continue to provide the best-in-class professional services and support from a team who deeply understands your work.
This acquisition brings together a customer base of nearly 6,000 foundations, corporations, and public entities, who last year alone collectively ran more than 35,000 programs and gave out more than $1.6 billion to nonprofit organizations and individuals. All of us stand to benefit from the wealth of knowledge and experience in this new community.
As we look to the future, our goals haven’t changed. We’re dedicated to helping you be successful in your social impact work. This is an exciting time for our company, and we’re so glad that you’re on the journey with us.
Q&A: What does this mean for you as a customer?
Why is this happening?
Submittable, WizeHive, Bright Funds, and WeHero have long been united in the mission to equip grantmakers, CSR professionals, and others in the social impact world with tools to help them drive positive change.
By joining forces as one company, we will bring together the best of each brand to create an unmatched portfolio of solutions. Our intention is to pave the way for our customers to be greater forces for good.
What does it mean for me as a customer?
This is great news for all customers!
Customers of each brand will soon benefit from an expanded feature set, taking the best of all products into a cohesive experience.
This move also positions us to be able to innovate faster in the future to deliver cutting edge tools that can more effectively serve your mission.
We’re also uniting large communities of changemakers. We’re seeking ways to bring this community together in common practice so that you can all learn from each other, share best practices, provide feedback to us about how our products can better support you, and grow in this work.
Will I have to change platforms?
Ultimately, our intention is for all customers to use one integrated solution for grants management and one for employee giving and volunteering that incorporates the best of all brands. As we explore the best path to do so, we will keep you informed. Rest assured, there will be no impact on your current program and we are honoring all active subscriptions. Your satisfaction is our number one priority.
Will this impact my pricing?
We will honor active subscriptions and existing contracts for all customers of Submittable WizeHive, Bright Funds, and WeHero.
