Our Product

Our product is what makes all of this possible. We’ve been thrilled to introduce the following powerful new features to the Submittable platform in 2019.

Advanced Reporting

In beta in 2019, Advanced Reporting is a new feature you can use to pull data from multiple forms so that you can measure and analyze your impact. Dive deep into your data so you can answer crucial stakeholder questions, uncover insights, discover trends, and tell your story.

Review Workflow

We launched Review Workflow, a highly-anticipated tool to build multiple stages of customizable review into your process. Review Workflow simplifies even a complex review process, with the ability to build and customize each stage to fit your exact needs, while keeping things clear, efficient, and organized.

Funds

Dashboards

Dashboards is a one-page statistical overview we introduced this year with built-in charts and graphs. Visualize the response to your calls for submissions in real time, or monitor your team’s progress in the review process at a glance.

Integration with Salesforce

We’ve announced Salesforce Integration to automatically sync your Submittable data with your Salesforce account via custom integration mapping. With Salesforce Integration you can achieve a holistic view of your relationships, maintain a cohesive data environment, and avoid a tedious manual process or the cost of contracting with a third party to develop an API call.

Draft Submission Reminder

Also new in 2019, the Draft Submission Reminder allows Submittable users to send a bulk email to anyone who has begun a draft on your form. Use this tool to maximize submissions by sending out a reminder to encourage individuals to submit as your deadline approaches.

Sign in with Google

Finally, we brought a Sign in with Google option to our platform. This shortcut not only streamlines workflows with one fewer set of credentials to remember, it also allows you to benefit from Google security protocols, such as two-factor authentication.

Our Team

Submittable team in Missoula

A lot has changed since we were founded in 2010! Our team has grown by 81 percent over the last year alone, and as a result we’ve taken over nearly 6,000 additional square feet of office space in the historic Florence hotel overlooking the Clark Fork River here in beautiful Missoula, Mont. Our fantastic people come from 27 different states—from Alaska to Florida—and five countries.

2019 was an especially big year for us as we announced a $10 million Series B raise from Next Coast Ventures along with returning investors True Ventures, Next Frontier Capital and Flywheel Ventures, marking the second largest enterprise software Series B raise in Montana’s history. As our company grows, we love that we can better help our partner organizations use our solution to reach their goals.

Our Commitment

Security and accessibility remain top priorities for Submittable. This year, we were thrilled to become SOC 2 Type 2 Certified, the most rigorous certification with the SOC (System and Organization Controls) protocol. This comprehensive security appraisal demonstrates that our systems assure the security of customer data, with evidence provided over an extended audit period.

Meanwhile, we have maintained compliance with GDPR (The General Data Protection Regulation), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) (including a 2019 audit), and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). On the accessibility side, our VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) affirms that our platform is accessible to a wide range of submitters with disabilities, following the WCAG 2.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) as maintained by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

Building Great Things Together

We are honored to partner with such amazing organizations and to play a role in creating so many incredible opportunities. It’s our relationships with our clients that guide us as we continually improve our product, resulting in a platform that helps you achieve more. Thank youwe couldn’t do it without you, so please continue to be in touch with us. We look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together in 2020!
